Can't link new remote to local repository?

Malkere

I started a new project a few days ago, so there are several commits locally. I want to start pushing them to bitbucket for safety, so I setup a new project and repository on my account, then added the remote url via the Sourcetree->Repository->Repository Settings, but it wants me to login to fetch/pull/push. My login credentials do not work, and none of my other repositories require me to login.

I've tried selecting the account as my OAuth "Authentication OK" saved account, and setting it as a Generic Account with my username, but they both prompt me to login, blocking all progress.

All of the settings under Repository Settings (including the Advanced tab) are the same as my other working repositories, but this one will not click for some reason.

works everytime.. complain about it and it fixes itself.. apparently I needed to use my username in the url instead of www.bitbucket.org
