Can't add user by name or email

Hello o/

I'm trying to add user to my repo by his username (AlexSocol) or his email? but I can't.

In first case it says "Unable to add that user. To invite a new member, enter an email address." and if I try to use his email, then just nothing happens - he do not recieve any email (using mail.ru email address)

What can I do? Thanks in advice
