Can I undo Atlassian login upgrade and get my personal projects back?

My personal projects are now stuck in my Atlassian work login.

I am no longer able to create personal projects because I am subject to work permissions.

The primary email on my account is no longer my personal email address - can I remove that email address and use it to create a new personal account.

This has been an uncharacteristic unpleasant surprise - usually you guys are on the ball but this has blindsided me.
