Can I connect Bitbucket Cloud with an on-premise Jira Server?

We currently have Jira Cloud and Bitbucket Cloud accounts linked/connected, this works really well for us as we're able to tie Jira tasks and Bitbucket commits together.  Currently we have a 2 way connection, we can see commits against Jira tasks and we can see Jira task information in Bitbucket.

For security reasons we may need to change Jira to an on-premise solution but would like to keep Bitbucket in the cloud.  Can anyone tell me if we would lose the connection ability and if so what do we lose (e.g. all of it, only Jira, only Bitbucket).
