Apologies @v, I had misread your question earlier. The website field in Profile Settingsis not currently used in the UI. It was displayed in earlier versions of Bitbucket and may be displayed again but is not currently part of the UI.

... unless I use a different browser where I'm not logged in! Then the repository description also disappears from the source tab and moves to the overview.
