We are currently using bitbucket server 1000 user license and we are about to upgrade to a bitbucket data centre 2000 user license
We are not at a point where we are ready to upgrade the server application, can we use the bitbucket data centre licenese on our current instance of bitbucket server (5.16.10)

Hi Robert,
You can indeed simply install the Bitbucket Data Center license on your existing Bitbucket Server instance without any problems or additional actions being necessary. Your instance will technically become a Data Center node, but otherwise nothing changes operationally.
