Bitbucket is not connecting to 2nd node when 1st node is down on "2 node Cluster" using DNS

We have added a new node to bitbucket cluster and we are able to see it under Admin -> Clustering. Load balancer is also configured for the cluster. This is a 2 node cluster with remote elasticsearch.
Issue: When we stop the application on the old node, the application is not connecting to the new node. We see 502 error as a result.

Note: Bitbucket DC v6.1.3

502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.

There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.
