I'm trying to accept a Bitbucket repository invite, but the invite emails never reach me. Jira notification emails to the same address arrive without any problem, so it doesn't look like a general deliverability issue.
Some things I've noticed while troubleshooting:
I can see two possible explanations. The first is that there are two separate identities on the same email address: an existing Atlassian account, and a Microsoft-linked one that isn't connected to it. If the invite is being tied to the unverified Microsoft identity, that might explain why it never lands where I can see it. The second is that my address has landed on Atlassian's suppression list after a bounce, so invites are no longer being attempted even though everything looks fine at my end.
Questions:
Any guidance on resolving the account link so the Bitbucket invite reaches me would be appreciated.
Welcome to the community.
This does look like the classic product invitations issue, where invitations get disabled in the your account preferences, so no invite email actually goes out even though everything looks correctly set up on our side.
Here's the guide that covers this exact scenario, plus the steps below in case it's easier to follow directly here:
1. Go to id.atlassian.com and sign in.
2. Click the avatar in the top-right corner.
3. Select Account settings.
4. Click the Email tab.
5. Click the link to open the Email preferences center.
6. In the Product Surveys and Invitations section, make sure Product Invitations is ticked/selected.
Once that's confirmed enabled, the next step is to let your workspace admin to cancel any pending invitations across the groups/repositories the user was added to, then resend them to trigger a fresh invite.
Give this a try and let me know how it goes.

Syahrul
Hello Isabella,
A couple of thoughts based on your description:
If the invitation still doesn't arrive after being revoked and resent, I'd recommend opening an Atlassian Support ticket. Include:
That information should allow Atlassian to determine whether the invitation is tied to the wrong identity, blocked by an email suppression record, or affected by another account-related issue.
Thanks,
Nisha
