I had several projects registered within the organization and others under my user account. To my surprise, when I logged in to review these projects, they were gone. I only have access to the ones under my user account; the ones I had within the organization have disappeared and are no longer updated or viewable. Is there any way to recover these? The organization's administration page has also disappeared.

Hi @Xavier Ruiz

Welcome to the community!

Don't panic — organisation-level repositories in Bitbucket Cloud don't disappear without cause. The most likely explanations are:

  1. Workspace vs user account confusion -  Check ALL your workspaces at https://bitbucket.org/account/workspaces — the projects may be under a different workspace than the one you're currently viewing. Click each workspace to check its repositories.
  2. The workspace was a personal workspace tied to a deleted/deactivated account  - If the organisation workspace was created under someone else's personal Atlassian account and that account was deactivated or deleted, the workspace and all its projects could disappear. Check if any admin recently left.
  3. Permission change -  You may have been removed from the workspace — check if you can still access https://bitbucket.org/{workspace-slug}/workspace/settings.
  4. Contact Atlassian Support immediately - If the workspace has genuinely disappeared and you had active projects there, contact https://support.atlassian.com as soon as possible — Atlassian has a 14-day grace period for deleted accounts during which data may be recoverable.

Thank you so much @Ajay _view26_ !
I was able to access the workspaces and saw that it was disabled.
What I don't understand is how it could have been disabled.
But the important thing is that it's enabled now and syncing with the servers again.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi @Xavier Ruiz

This is not something that will be able to be resolved in our community, as it is a public forum.

May you please let me know your timezone so I can raise a ticket on your behalf with the relevant support team?

Cheers!

- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
