Bitbucket anti virus scan

Deleted user

Could you please let us know if Bitbucket loaded files are being scanned with antivirus?

We'd like to understand if during the upload via git or when files are stored in Bitbucket there is any antivirus mechanisms to scan the provided files.

No, there is no anti-virus system integrated with Bitbucket Server.

However, if you want this, you can scan HOME directory of Bitbucket server using anti-virus software of your choice. HOME directory is the place where Bitbucket store all repositories.

Side Note - GIT stores all files as objects, and I don't think scanning that will be of any help.
