Hello,

I have created an application that works with Bitbucket Cloud and uses the 2.0 version of Bitbucket REST API. However, when I installed a trial version of Bitbucket Server to my machine and tried to connect my application, I could work only with REST API 1.0 endpoints (2.0 were not found).

Does it mean that if I want to build a universal app that would work with Bitbucket Cloud and Bitbucket Server, I must revert to REST API 1.0? Or will 2.0 be supported in servers soon?

Thanks,

Filip

Hi! Bitbucket Cloud and Server use different REST APIS. You can find more info at Bitbucket Server REST APIs and Bitbucket Cloud Rest APIs for Cloud.

Hope that helps!

Is this sane to have different API's for BB Cloud and BB Server ? So if I have an application which is performing badly on the BB cloud because it's shit slow then I decide then to use bb server just to find out that the API's don't match.
