Hi There,

I am having a challenge when trying to transfer repositories into my corporate team.

In my corporate account, I have 450 users and 100+ groups (we have a separate group per project). When I try to transfer any repository by default it seems the transferred repo is assigned to all existing groups. How can I avoid this? - it generates notification emails and people reaching out to me what's going on.

Thanks,

Csaba

Hi Csaba,

That's because you've set the groups in your team to have access by default to all new repositories in the team. If you don't want that, you'll need to revoke those permissions and grant them access only to those repos you want them to have access. The instructions can be found at Grant repository access to users and groups.

Let us know if that helps!

Ana
