BitBucket cloud and CD to on-premise servers

Our customer wants to use bitbucket cloud as a code repository but wants deployments done to on-premise servers through continuous deployment (pipelines). As far as I can search the only option, in this case, seems to be FTP the code to the server. 

I would like to know if there is any other option we can use in this situation. 

Also, how do we deploy SQL scripts from cloud repository to on-premise servers?

Am fairly new to atlassian products and would appreciate any information provided.
