Atlassian Connect Apps

Will the Connect Apps by Atlassian be converted to Forge apps?  We use the Jira connector.  (There's also an "Atlassian Integration" does that replace the Connect app?)

We also have Bitbucket Code Search and Pipelines (These seem like basic Bitbucket features, do we even really need a Connect app to use them?)

Most of the information I can find is for Forge developers not users.

Hi @Denise Skidmore

Atlassian-owned apps will be transitioned accordingly away from Connect > Forge, so you do not need to migrate the app yourself.

I've checked your list of installed apps, and can see that the JIRA-related apps you have installed are owned by Atlassian - additionally, all Bitbucket-specific connect apps such as Pipelines/Reports/Codesearch/Slack integration functionality will also be transitioned by us without the need for user intervention.

Please keep the apps installed and follow any future product-specific communication from Atlassian.

Cheers!

Audit log shows they have been auto-updating their apps, so hopefully they'll have a forge update soon.

Unfortunately the roadmap for the connect to forge migration for bitbucket is not very clear.

My recommendation is to open a support request with Atlassian.
