Atlassian Access - BitBucket Users

Hi,

I am hoping someone can assist me in possibly solving this issue?

We have a certain number of users who have signed up for Product Access on application such as BitBucket and Trello, which is unfortunately adding to our Atlassian Access and thus increasing our user count. We only have 100 Atlassian Access on our instance.

I had reached out to Atlassian if we are able to remove their Product Access from the Admin side, and it was indicated that cannot be done from the Admin side and the user needs to do it themselves.

We then have reached out to the users to remove their access to these Products, however we seem to be having an issue with BitBucket as it seems to be the free plan they have signed up to.

How we can get the users to de-register from BitBucket on their work email address on the free plan? And then not count towards our Atlassian Access?

Thanks.

Hello @Drishti Maharaj and thank you for reaching out to the Community!

The users can delete any Bitbucket workspace they have Administrator permission (including their personal workspaces) by following the below instructions :

  1. Find the workspaces you have access to by clicking on your avatar and selecting "All workspaces", then pick the one you wish to delete.
  2. Click on the gear icon on the top right corner and then click on "Workspace Settings" option to access the workspace settings;
  3. On the new page that shows up, click on the "Delete workspace" button.
  4. There will be two warning messages to prevent accidental workspace deletion. Select the Delete button to proceed.

Once the workspaces are deleted, it should stop counting against the Access license.

Hope that helps! Let me know in case you have any questions.

Thank you, @Drishti Maharaj !
