When app passwords are deprecated will existing sourcetree access fail and need to move to app tokens or is it just new installs that need setting up with app tokens.
I don’t know when authentication is done during the sync process with bitbucket

thanks

Hi,
Existing SourceTree connections that still use Bitbucket app passwords will likely need to be updated once that authentication method is fully retired, not just new installs. Since SourceTree authenticates when it connects to Bitbucket during remote operations, the safer approach is to plan a move to the newer token-based method before the deprecation takes effect.
