Im already using Embedded GIT but still don't have Y/N buttons to respond to the error below:

"The server's host key is not cached in the registry. You
have no guarantee that the server is the computer you
think it is. (...)"

Workaround didn't work for me either.

 

In Options -> General I switched the SSH Client from PuTTY / Plink to OpenSSH so it uses the public key in the .ssh/ folder. Now it works.

It might be related to plink.exe.. An other user mentioned that a lot of plink.exe is running already.. I have the same issue and I removed all the plink.exe and still no buttons came up.

I solved it by using OpenSSH and my ssh key from the git-bash installation..
