Access stast from under Proxy Server

Hi,

We are trying to clone a git repository from our corporate network. Our web traffic is restricted with a proxy server.

We have configured sourceapp with the required proxy server ip / port /username / password but not able to access the git .

Through direct internet connection ( like data card ) it is working fine.

Do we need to open any specific port to gain access?

We are using McAfee Web gateway as Proxy server.

Error Message we are getting is : "This is not a valid source path / url"

Thanks for your reply.....I have already gone through this post and tried all possibilities but not worked.

Are you using Sourcetree to clone?
