I'm able to login as u1xxxx7 to connect and browse repository which is inside a company internal bitbucket server.

However, when connecting to the bitbucket server from sourcetree it fails with "Failed to check login for user [u1xxxx7]". Not sure what is the reason. Appreciate help to resolve this long standing issue.

Hi @Godson Retna,

A few clarifications…

1. What version of Sourcetree are you using, and on what OS?

2. What version of Bitbucket Server are you using?

3. What functionality are you attempting to access when the error occurs?

Our apologies for the hiccup.

SourceTree version 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 Professional

2. What version of Bitbucket Server are you using?  v5.15.0

3. What functionality are you attempting to access when the error occurs?  I'm connecting to the bitbucket server from sourcetree. However, it fails with "Failed to check login for user [u1xxxx7]".
