Are there any plans to implement the Group & Privileges endpoints in the version 2 of the Bitbucket API?

In the deprecation notice, other endpoints were explained as to why they were changing; where as these ones were just stated as "no longer be managed directly with the REST API". 

This is rather annoying for us as we have a lot of repos and users that we like to audit through the V1 API to edit group memberships & permissions.

Is there any official statement as to why this is no longer supported? Are there plans to implement this in the future? Are there any other possible ways to automate this kind of management in Bitbucket?

Hi Alex,

For now that option is not available in the 2.0 API, but there's a Feature request to get it implemented at https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/15196/removal-of-10-api. You can watch it to be notified of future updates, and also write a comment if there's something you'd like to add or if you have any questions.
