Join our research study: Seeking participants to help us improve test management in Bitbucket

Hi everyone,

I'm Varsha I work on Bitbucket Cloud at Atlassian. We're exploring how users manage tests in their CI/CD pipelines, especially when tests behave unpredictably, and we'd love your insights. We're looking for participants to join a short research study to help us improve the experience.

With Bitbucket Tests, we're building a new way to organize, track, and optimize your tests directly where your builds run. Now we want to dig deeper into how teams actually handle flaky tests, re-runs, and pipeline failures in their day-to-day workflows.

What's involved?

  • A 60-minute session (with video and screen share). You can participate from anywhere.

  • We'll observe how you set up, run, and manage tests in your pipelines.

  • As a token of appreciation, you'll receive an e-gift card worth $100 USD.

These insights will help us prioritize improvements that reduce the pain of unreliable tests and pipeline re-runs.

Note: We may not be able to interview everyone who signs up. We'll select participants who best represent a diverse mix of roles, CI/CD tools, and team environments. Gift cards will only be provided to participants who are selected and complete the research session.

Who are we looking for?

Users who:

  • Interact with CI/CD pipelines at least a few times a week

  • Have set up, modified, or maintain tests in their pipeline

  • Have encountered flaky tests at least occasionally in the past month

  • Are comfortable with video, audio, and screen sharing

While we encourage everyone to sign up so we can learn from you, we're especially interested in users who've tried Tests in Bitbucket.

If you believe you're a good fit, please sign up below.

If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this post. We look forward to hearing about your experience.

Cheers,
The Bitbucket team

Hi @Varsha Patel

There seems to be a defect where community articles do not show the badges for Atlassian team members.  Thus, people may skip over this one thinking its from a vendor or spam.

Please consider adding your Atlassian role information at the top of the article to help people know its from Atlassian.  Thanks!

Kind regards,
Bill
