We’re exploring how software teams use AI across the software lifecycle, and how they build trust, governance, and safety as AI becomes more autonomous.

We’re opening a research study so you can share your experience with AI usage in software development. Join this study to shape the design of AI safety and governance features in Bitbucket.

About this research study

This is an unmoderated, online research study. No audio, video, or screen recording will take place.

• Complete an initial screener online survey.

• If shortlisted, then fill-up the main survey (research study) which approximately takes 10–15 minutes and must be completed within 48 hours of selection.

• Participate from any device in a quiet place where you can focus.

Note: We may not be able to accept everyone who signs up. We’ll select participants who best represent a diverse mix of roles, product usage, and team environments. Gift cards will only be provided to participants who are selected and complete the research study.

Who we’re looking for

• Developers, DevOps/platform engineers, QA engineers, or engineering managers

• People on teams using or exploring AI for development

• Teams where AI creates PRs, commits code, or merges changes
