Bitbucket Tests(beta) now supports tracking tests from multiple branches

Hi Bitbucket Community! 👋

Bitbucket Tests now supports tracking tests from multiple branches including default branch.

With this update, Bitbucket Tests can now track up to 5 branches per repository, including the default branch, so failure rates, flaky scores, and test history better reflect how your team actually delivers software.

Note: Bitbucket Tests is Available on Standard and Premium Bitbucket plans.

What's new

  • Track up to 5 branches per repo - Pick a primary branch (main, develop, or a release branch) plus up to four others

  • Filter any test execution by tracked branch - a branch filter shows exactly where a test is failing.

Benefit: If something's broken on staging but green on main, you'll see that clearly.

  • Smarter flaky detection - Flaky scores now use data from all your tracked branches - more signal means flaky tests get caught earlier.

Benefit: Catch flakiness faster and more reliably with additional data, before you ship.
