Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to the Atlassian Community!

When upgrading to Bamboo version 6, you will not need to rewrite your build plans.

Please see the Bamboo Upgrade Guide for more details on the upgrade process. In most cases, you should be able to upgrade directly from Bamboo 5.x to the latest.
