Would a deployment release be created if the build plan failed?

Hi there!

I would like to know if a deployment release would be created if the build plan failed at any stage. It would also be great if you could point me to any documentation/resource that provides this information

When your deployment plan is configured to start after a build (via a trigger) it will only be initiated for successful builds.
