Why Bamboo SCP task does not have option to copy from remote server to Bamboo?

I'd like to integrate existing regression test suites (trigged by script) with Bamboo after deploy buids to remote QA server. However, the current SCP task (Bamboo v4.2&4.3) only allow copy from Bamboo to remote server. I am curious why it is one way not both directions.

for work around, I am thinking about set up a SSH task to trigger a scp command from remote server to move files to Bamboo which is aweful but should do the trick.
