Incrementing tag version with docker release

Is there a way to automatically increasing the tag version for docker using bamboo features like docker runner or any of the docker tasks available. for eg

1. I build docker image @$test_docker_image:1.0.0. When i release this image some process should automatially increment the tag for to 2.0.0 for next major release
