How to obtain maven project name within a Bamboo build/deploy?

I have developers who are creating maven applications with the name value being as following:

<name>abc</name>

They have the artifactid as something differnt

<artifactId>abc app</artifactId>

I am using Maven Pom Extractor task and I am able to easily grab the artifactId, but I can't figure out the correct/best way to grab the name value....as the name is what is being used when our applications are being deployed.

When I try to query the application, I can't unless the artifactId and name are the same.
