Edit Branch Field Disabled

What would cause me to not be able to edit the branch field on a Plan Branch? The branch plan was created thru a Pull Request but I thought I should still be able to edit the branch. I have full admin rights and I can manually create plan branches. I ask because some of our recent plan branches created thru a PR are all going against the default branch and not the branch from the PR. That's the main issue but I'm also trying to correct the ones already created. Thanks!
