Default branch variables for a plan

Is it possible to have say a plan variable called host and have it so that this host variable is overriden for every branch? I know you can do it manually for each branch plan created, but I would like to know if it's possible to say have host = blah for every branch plan automatically created?

No, it's not possible. You can't hook into branch creation process.
