Bamboo transition from Starter to Remote Agent

Hi,

I have Bamboo installed on my server as a Starter Licence, I now want to transition from this to the company server and use a Remote Agent.

So that the move is smooth and complete, I want to have to have the 2 running in parallel (Both local server and Remote Agent). Then I can start to manually create the new jobs on the remote agent.

However, I notice that both use the same port numbers - 8085. Which means a conflict of running them together.

Any suggestions of what I can do?

Note: I have admin rights for the Local Starter Licence, but the Remote Agent is served by corporate IT and I have limited permissions.

Thanks for  any suggestions.

Hello Brian

I guess you can have only one Local Agent ( Main Bamboo Application Server ) connected to multiple Remote Agent boxes. Also the Remote Agents will run the builds which are created in main Bamboo Application Server.

Cheers

Sandeep
