Bamboo Hangs with "Checking out source code"

I'm running the 5.15.5 build of Bamboo. Almost all the time, several of my builds have an icon with horizontal arrows going back and forth. The tooltip says "Checking out source code" and it holds everything else up for hours. If I hit the stop build icon, they will kick over into performing a build.

Does anyone know what causes this? And how can I stop it? Thanks.

Hi Adam,

There can be multiple reasons behind this. Did you check the bamboo logs to understand what's happening there (start with catalina.out).
