I’d like to have an automated comment added to a Jira ticket whenever a predefined Rovo agent is executed. However, I’m unable to use Rovo skills for this, because they require user confirmation before adding a comment to the Jira ticket.
It might help if you could give more details about your use case. It is possible to include an agent inside an automation rule and use the {agentResponse} smart value to capture the output of the agent's action to do something inside your rule.
The action to call an agent inside an automation rule is Use Rovo Agent.
This approach allows you to respond to any available automation rule trigger that might make sense for your use case.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your response. My use case is as follows:
A user opens a Jira ticket and accesses a predefined Rovo agent to check if any additional details are needed on the ticket. After reviewing the response provided by the agent, I want an automated comment to be added to the Jira ticket in the background, indicating that the agent has been run successfully. This would help track who executed the agent and when.
Problems I am encountering:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
