The agent response formatting differs when triggered via Jira automation.

Hi,

When I use the Rovo Agent directly, the response is formatted correctly. However, when invoking the same agent via Jira Automation and inserting {{agentResponse}} into the Description field, the formatting breaks. Interestingly, the response appears perfectly formatted when added as a comment instead.

Does anyone have any insights into why this might be happening?

What is the agent doing in the automation, does it make a new issue?

The edit action is related to the sub-task in the branch, it will not act on the created issue, if that is what the Rovo agent does.

Thanks for the response.

In essence, the automation will search for a specific sub-task. If it exists, the agent will be triggered to update that sub-task by appending the response to its description field.
