Mistakenly I applied Security On my Jira project. After applying security I could not see my own created tickets. Once removed Security I could see new tickets but could not see older tickets which i created during security applied.
Anyone know how to retrieve those tickets?
Hello,
Good day. I have created a support request on your behalf with the concerned team, and our team will get back to you via email.
I Can not apply security role back again as it is in production and I can't apply it back. Rest of the options given by support has been checked and it did not work.

Hi Sidra,
How did you remove security?
The tickets already created will have the Security levels applied. You might try removing the Security scheme from your project and see if that helps. Go to Space Settings > Summary
Then on the right side about half way down look for Permissions. Remove the Issue level security there and see if that helps to clear the existing tickets.
The best way would be to simply update the Security Level you created to add yourself to the rule. But if you have deleted that it will be a problem.

I have moved my project to work item security as none. Which removed the security. I could not see the ticket being created earlier as well as now.

If you search for it in the advanced search/filter, can you see it there? Who had access to it under the security when it was there? Can they see it?

I can't see those in advance search or filter. Also no one could see those issues.

Okay, that sounds rough. I am not sure of your subscription type so I am going to request Atlassian to have someone come here to help you. They will probably open a support ticket for you.
Once you get a resolution, please post back here so we know what the result was for future readers. Best of luck!

They are asking to apply that security back. I can't do it as prod will be down if It happened again.
