Currently you can only create databases using the automation rule builder, is there any plans to allow the functionality to edit or add entries to databases in confluence? This would be a game changer and make databases a lot more viable for daily use.
Hi @liamhale -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
As others have described, those features do no exist yet. Here are some open suggestions you may watch / vote for to see any progress. These cover rule components and the endpoints needed to support them.
Kind regards,
Bill
I wish I had an answer, but I'm leaving this comment to just to follow the thread.
Really wonder if Atlassian will ever create Automation actions for Databases to add/modify/delete rows, or API access to Database that goes beyond Creating and Deleting Databases.
Without the availability of programmatic CRUD operations on the actual data inside of Databases, I have to agree with somebody who commented "With Confluence Databases, Atlassian just gave us worse tables."
