Hi,
I want to create an automation such that if a specific field is edited/updated in the Jira Service desk ticket, it should create an incident in Squadcast.
Any suggestions on how to do it?
Thanks!
Hi @Namrata Kumari -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I am not using Squadcast, and that appears to be a marketplace addon for Jira. Perhaps check with their documentation or support team to learn more about doing what you ask: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221041/squadcast-for-jira-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=support
Until then...
If the app has a REST API interface, perhaps an automation rule could call one of the functions using the Send Web Request action. To learn more about calling a REST API function from a rule, please see this how-to article: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-articles/Automation-for-Jira-Send-web-request-using-Jira-REST-API/ba-p/1443828
Kind regards,
Bill
