Confluence Create a folders and sub-folders using automation

Yaniv December 1, 2024 edited

How can I set an automation to create a folder and sub-folders?

The preferred way is by a condition of a label added to the main folder but manually triggered is also ok.

This is the folders structure I need:

  1. Main_Folder
    • Sub-Folder 1
    • Sub Folder 2
    • Sub Folder 3

Thanks (-:

Hi @Yaniv,

As far as I know, you cannot label a folder. If you’re referring to a parent page instead of a folder, here’s a rule you could use:

I suggest adding {{triggerPage.title}} as a prefix to the folder name, because a space can’t contain duplicate folder names. Without this step, you might get a “This folder already exists” error.

Hope this helps!
