Hi,
i have a question regarding automatically adding Tags in Confluence Cloud.
As mentioned in my other post i want to set up a knowledge base in confluence. The Information on the pages should come from other (sub) pages that are /included in the main pages.
These sub-Pages shall be organized in Categories / Headlines. Is it possible to copy all tags from a Page to a sub page when creating it or when the sub page gets moved?
This is how i imagined it
Hey @Alex -
Well, Google found an old question that I answered a few years back and found that @bob.dalm came up with a new answer using Advanced Branching that didn't exist when I created my answer.
So then, this worked in my testing:
If, say, you wanted to REMOVE the existing labels before adding the parent ones, maybe do a branch before this one that goes through {{content.labels.name}} and use Remove label to remove each {{currentLabel}}.
I'm a little worried that the two branch actions might run asynchronously/in parallel, which would be a problem if some of the parent labels are the same. Let me test that...
Ok, it seems to work! I moved a page around to a bunch of parents with different labels, some the same, and it seemed to do the right thing each time:
Here's the rule with the additional Remove label step that "clears" the existing labels before applying those from the new parent:
Please LMK if this works!

Oh yeah, the reload thing is a pain. But glad it works!
I hate to ask, but could you please push the "Accept answer" button at the top? It helps me keep my "status". :-P
Thanks!

Hi, and to which "status" are you referring, @Darryl Lee ;^)
Well done!

@Bill Sheboy aw c'mon, I think you know it's the "Atlassian Community Leader Champion status" that you would easily qualify for. :-}

Thanks for the information, Darryl. I was not aware maintaining was a thing for those roles.
