Team field type

Do you have any plans to introduce a Team field type so that we could create custom fields where one could select a Team? Single and also multiple team picker? Just like we have user and group picker fields?

It would be very useful as in Jira we have some cases where teams are requesting things from other teams and it would be good to be able to enter into the ticket the team who requests the thing and then the current Team field would indicate which team is handling the request.

I've raised this question as well on various posts and feature requests as well.
As I recall the last response I got was that it wasn't on the roadmap, but they would take the feedback in.
I can't seem to find that response though, so take this with a grain of salt.

While we are at it, it would also be useful to be able to narrow down the teams that can be selected.

Realized this community article with new features mentions the Team custom fields, but those are meaning fields within a Team itself. Still might be a good place to ask about a separate Jira field that can be used to store teams, multi-picker being added to the existing Team field, and a way to filter which teams can be selected in the field based on other criteria (such as the Jira space).
