atlassian rovo mcp deployment in local

Hi team

 i would want an atlassian rovo mcp server deployable in local in our clusters and use it. is there a way to do so? i found sooperset as one such deployable but i am looking out for the official one from atlassian, i would want to hear about it if it exist?

Hi @samyu2 ,

MCP is a cloud-based bridge rather than a standalone server that you deploy locally or in your own clusters.

You could still use it with local clients (like VS Code, Cursor...) by using a local proxy.

Now, I did play a bit with this when it was first announced, but I'm not so much into infrastructure and 'on-prem deployments'. I'll move this to the Rovo forum group so potentially someone can chime in.

What could be useful are these:

• Getting started with the Atlassian Rovo MCP Server 
• Setting up IDEs (desktop clients) 

Plus, there's a dedicated MCP server discussion group here: Atlassian Rovo MCP Server 

Guessing the question here would be, are you planning to use this with a specific IDE or a custom-built tool in your cluster? 👀

I could only move it to the Rovo forum due to some platform limitations. But I've notified the moderators team for them to manually 'move'/transform it to the MCP group, so I'm guessing it will be done as soon as possible.

If not, you can always create a new discussion in the linked group.

i am looking for a deployable docker image, that i can run it on cluster and integrate with copilot to fetch the needful. yes pls you could move it to atlassian rovo mcp server
