I'm making an assessment for upgrading & migration to Jira Software Cloud & Atlassian Access from Jira Server 5 or 6.
Nowadays, the most users (80%) are in AD but the others loggins come from developers or clients or companies that aren't at AD.
By other hand, Jira Server has got several projects where users are disabled or delete. Keeping project historic is a requirement also. Furthermore, there are several private "pluggins".
