I've gone through the migrate to cloud (fixed all issues) and am ready to do a test. However, I don't want to click the Run option until I can be sure that no data is removed from my on premise instance of Jira server. Can someone verify that migrating copies files and doesn't remove any files.
Thanks in advance.
The JCMA tools will not remove any data from your source server. Any working data used by the tool is stored in it's own set of specific database tables.
Hi,
Same for the cloud side. Nothing is removed from cloud before migration. Both JCMA and CCMA do a copy and will not copy over anything. Often you'll get warnings or errors stopping this from happening, or with JCMA it will rename something with (Migrated) after the name.
