Hi,
I'm looking to use the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant to move from Confluence Data Centre to Confluence Cloud. I need to migrate some personal spaces as well as the site spaces. As part of the migration assistant, I've selected a personal space from the list of spaces to migrate but once complete, the personal space is now a global space.
Is there a way to either migrate as a personal space or change it afterwards?
For info, the user already existed in Cloud and had a personal space (but with no content). So now there are 2 spaces for that user - one Cloud personal space and the site space with their name as the space title.
Thanks!

This is a good workaround but if you have 180 users (as we have) or even more, it can be tedious to move every single personal space manually.
If there is no automated way, I'd say we go with telling every user to move their personal spaces manually. This give them a change to go over everything and only move what they still need.
Thanks Jacques - that would probably work as not all users have personal spaces but is there any way in the migration for them to be kept as personal spaces?
Hi @Beth Chubb ,
have you tried to delete personal space, which already exists in cloud? It should be ok, if it is empty. And then migrate it from DC with CCMA?
@Hana Kučerová That has worked perfectly - I didn't think to try deleting the personal space. Thank you!
