Data residency support for Rovo - Limited availability

Hello Atlassian Community!

My name is Abhay Jain, and I'm a product manager working on Atlassian Rovo. My team focuses specifically on bringing enterprise trust capabilities aimed to provide you with the confidence to deploy Rovo across your organization.

Since announcing Rovo at Team ‘24 last year, we’ve seen many of you discover new AI use cases, build agents, and save time and resources with Rovo. And, with our teams hard at work delivering more admin controls and compliance certifications, like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, more of you have been able to start taking advantage of AI.

There are tons of Rovo announcements happening at Team ‘25 this week, but I’m most excited to share that data residency support for Rovo is now in limited availability! Many of you are already using data residency across your Atlassian portfolio, and we’re expanding it to more and more apps. With data residency available for Rovo, you’ll now have control over where in-scope data is stored to help support industry or organizational requirements.

How can I get data residency for Rovo?

Data residency for Rovo is rolling out gradually to all customers. If you want to store Rovo data in your preferred region during limited availability, reach out to your account team or contact support directly.
