What is the progress of the Atlassian Home API?

Based on this previous thread it appeared like someone at Atlassian was working on an API for Atlassian Home (Projects?) yet that thread went dead a while back. In the meantime I've had to create custom status reporting in Jira, which is pretty average.

It would also be amazing to be able to configure the reporting period.  Every week is unnecessary and it should be configurable to any number of days so you could align with fortnightly or monthly sprints.

Is there any work going on for this?

It seems this was turned into a feature request. Generally community threads do not stay active forever, they're more meant as a Q&A and as features are announced sometimes blogs are released.  Following the feature request is recommended, however, since it involves the API, the community for developers is more appropriate, wherein such features are likely to be announced. They are sometimes cross posted but not always
