I can't help but suggest the easiest reset option I've seen — with the SLA Time and Report for Jira add-on. There, it is possible to simply activate the Reset SLA condition immediately in the SLA Configuration.
The application was developed by my team, so for an objective assessment, it is better for you to try it yourself with a 30-day trial. You may find more advantages in it than just a simple reset.
