I have two controls - one to select a space and another to show the sprints associated with the space. When I clear the space selection, the sprint control still shows the old value. How can clear a control that is dependent on another control?

The short answer here is that this isn't possible at this time. We do, however, have an open feature request to add this functionality:
I recommend voting for it and adding yourself as a watcher to get updates down the road.
