Display text from custom field in a content area

I need to display the text from a multi-line text custom field.  I can run a typical 'list' table report in analytics to get this field to display based on the control field choice.  But as we know this field shows as JSON / ADF, like this: 

{"type":"doc","version":1,"content":[{"type":"table","attrs":{"isNumberColumnEnabled":false,"layout":"align.........

Is there a way to link to this field in a Content area and have it display as normal text as it appears in the Jira Issue?

Or, is there a work around to get the text to display as normal text in the table chart?
