Analytics Dropdown for Parent and Child

My dashboard has several filters.  One is a filter for the Epic Name.  (Although any other identifier for the epic would do.)  

I would love this filter to not just display the tickets for the Epic but also all of the child tickets for the chosen Epic down to sub-task.  Any ideas about an efficient way to do this?  I'd rather not populate a field in all the tickets simply for a filter to work.

Hi @Steven Ferguson ,  Such a Control can be done today. This is an Analytics Knowledge Base article and video explaining how to do this. 

Meanwhile, we are also exploring ways to make this task easier.
